Has Anyone Waited Longer Than Six Month For finasteride Results?

Of all the success stories I've read I don't think I've seen a single one where someone using finasteride saw nothing for six months but eventually had success.

Is such a person out there?

I've been on it nearly five months and seen nothing so far. I thought there was a reduction in shedding or mild ball ache but I think I just imagined these things because I'm desperate for this crap to help me.

Everyone says "Wait a year" but I've scoured success stories and I don't think I've found a single one where someone didn't see a thing for a year. If you don't see results in six month it seems you're not responding, despite what people say.

How long did it take to know it halted your loss?

I'd be happy if it stopped mine and never regrew anything, but it could be years before I know for sure, and that'd be years of torture. The only way for me to know it's working is to get some regrowth, even just a little.

See what I mean, under 6 months. I'm highly skeptical finasteride will work if you wait over six months.
I remember most people complaining of a huge shed around the 8th month mark. It happened to me and I went below baseline but never recovered back. Most people don't regrow back alot hair with finasteride alone. Usually, they add minoxidil and they start to see some growth. The hairline is almost impossible to recover for most people. Just remember, these drugs only offset your final Norwood pattern to a later date. However, you really never know when that date was going to be in the first place so it's more like an insurance policy you are taking out on your hair. I have been on finasteride for 14 years and so far my Norwood level changed very slightly but my overall density did decrease over the 14 years. It tends to improve if I stay on minoxidil. I have quit minoxidil at least 10 times over the past 14 years. I am back on it now as I like Lipogaine sensitive scalp.

Why did you keep quitting minoxidil?

Minoxidil definitely in my case at least would cause facial bloating and make my current forehead lines more prominent. It also caused the bags under my eyes to be more prominent too. It mostly happened when I used 5 percent vs 2 percent. If I use minoxidil every other day, the sides are less prominent. I now just use less than 1ml per day and make sure my I don't get any excess on my pillow. I used to use the foam a lot and it is harder to apply with alot of hair versus Lipoagaine drops. And Lipogaine dries quickly and has some other boosters in it I like.

Use a 1.5mm dermastamp on your forehead lines, i had deep forehead lines and they wore gone within 6 months needling every month. Results last years too, just a suggestion.

I actually am using some great skin care products that have dramatically changed my skin. My skin looks the best it has looked in ages. I suffered from acne as a kid and now my acne prone skin is really looking so much better. I have the derminator which unfortunately, I used a few times and got lazy and stopped using it. I really need to go back to using it as the machine was not cheap.

I'm fine if I never see regrowth, but regrowth is the only way I'll know it's working.

If your body hair decreases, you know it's working. It decreased mine. If your ejaculate volume is less and your semen is more watery, the drug is working.

I've seen no side effects at all.
Well if that is the case, then keep at it. You have nothing to lose but hair at this point.

Do you know of anyone who saw nothing for longer than six months but ultimately either got results or maintained for a long time?

I remember a few cases where some guys noticed the maximum results at 2 years.

Maximum, yes I've seen those stories too, problem is they always notice something in the first six months.
Are you using minoxidil too?
