Hard To Measure Diffuse Hairloss Progression

I first noticed my diffusing hair loss in February 2016 . I've been on rogaine since then and been on finasteride since January 2017. Now the weird thing is I can't tell if I'm losing hair. Yes my hair is obviously thin however it has basically stayed the same from what I can tell over the past 2 years?

My question to you guys is do you think this is more likely because I just can't notice the fact that my hair is getting thinner since diffuse hairloss is kind of hard to measure or is there really a chance that my hair isn't even thinning anymore?

Idk what is more likely.

Either is possible. You should add in Nizoral or prescription 2% ketacozanole and also dermarolling. Dermarolling has been helping my diffuse NW3.

Yea I do use Nizoral once or twice a week.

I don't know anything about dermaroing- how effective is it/ is it easy to do?

Where do you dermaroll? I want to start, but I don't want to tangle up my hair in the needles and pull even more hair out.

I do it on my slick bald temples and my back left side and back of my head where it's the worse. I can part my hair and roll carefully without pulling any out, maybe your's is not that thin. I had the exact same worry when I started but when you actually go to do it it's easier than it seems.

Im diffuse too and the way i monitor my hair is via taking photos with wet hair since your hairline doesn't really change but it does thin out and the water clearly shows the diffuse loss . Also you can kind of gauge by how long you take styling your hair. The more diffuse i'm gradually getting, the longer i take adjusting my hair so the the thinness doesn't show.

If you are on treatments and your hair looks the same then i think its safe to assume its working. Get a density hair transplant and never look back.
