What if I just cut my hair short and choppy and then dyed it blond ( mine is dark brown now). I have thinning hair and a near bald spot in the crown.

If cut my hair this way and dyed it blond, wouldn't that appear to give me much, much better coverage? I have heard that blonds have less hair on their heads but that blond hair contrasts more favorably with a Caucasian's scalp than darker colors do. True?

blondes actually have MORE hair

but usually the miniaturization process lightens and shrinks the hair diameter and shortens the anagen (growing) phase of the follicle

i suppose it all just depends on your situation

if you were to dye it dark brown you could pigment the lighter miniaturized hair
