This is because of some urgency Im opting for hair system.

PRP involved injections into the scalp, right? And presumably you're taking the finasteride topically?

You can attach your system with light tac tape at the back and sides, and then you can pull the system off at the back and roll it forward to expose the scalp surface for your treatments, leaving the hairline in place.

Off on a tangent but I really don't understand why our hair system forum isn't bigger than all the other forums on this site.

I say this because I was poking around other areas in the forums and so many people, like us, suffer from hair loss and they don't know about this solution, or they're too stigmatized to even consider it .I know I was, initially.

We have such a wealth of knowledge on here that's high quality and genuine. The fact that systems can be such a flexible solution is reason alone, but without experienced guys on here like Noah and many others, I probably wouldn't have taken the plunge .

I think most people dismiss systems straight away .there really is a huge psychological barrier, like you were saying before Noah .

The fact that the op can continue treatment and still have kick *** hair is amazing .I would have done the same but I just accepted my hair loss is out of my control. That and it would add to the maintenance, which I'm happy with now in terms of time and frequency .

Naah, Im taking Finasteride orally, started one month ago and shedding like crazy af. But i think this the phase. Trying to bring down minioxidil 5% from 10. Since Im going for hair system road. So no need to continue minioxidil. Just taking Finasteride for whats left.
Is it good stretegy.
One more thing My back area is quite dense. How to see if the FUE transplant will be successful since Im Hypothyroidism patient. Its in range for quite some time.

Obviously if you're taking it topically a hair system will not interfere with that. You will be buzzing the area under the system, so you won't be able to monitor what effect the finasteride is having on that hair, but of course you will see the effect on your remaining fringe hair.

I can't really talk much about meds, because I had bad side effects and had to discontinue rapidly. But certainly if you find the finasteride is stabilising your side hair and not causing any unpleasant side effects that's got to be a good thing. Thick side hair and good temple points make it easier to get a good result from a system.

I think it’s a great idea to continue treatment, especially oral treatment, while wearing a hair system. Some people maintain their baseline on finasteride for 10+ years. Who knows what kind of treatments we will have 10 years from now.

Think it depends. I personally don't want additional expenditures on meds, and especially since you won't see the results. Meh.

It depends on what stage your hairloss is in .I personally dealt with hair loss since high school, and I'm 25 years old now .So I was done with it, and finally got a system .

Not looking back. To hell with minoxidil, or worrying about getting it up.

From what I understand if the cure comes it will be in form of stem cells converting to hair cells, so I don't think it would be an issue to fully restore any level of hair loss .
