Hair styling products/gel advice

Good hair gel? One that won't promote more hair loss or clog my hair follicles...thanks guys!

i recommend american crew Structure. its like a mix between a gel and a thickener. works really well for me, good hold like a gel, but allow for a more drier look that adds fullness. tough to find though, but just go to a salon that sells american crew and ask for them to order it for you. that's what i did

do you really put hair gell on your scalp?? i dont know but i use gum type of stuff and it never touches my scalp .. therefore would never be a problem with hairlosss

I used this stuff called demented for the longest time.. a stringy gummy glue type stuff. But now it doesn't work like it used to. My hair is really hard to style and I need something that is very strong.

I don't like stuff that dries completely, but I also dont like it to look wet, and I also hate gel that flakes off when rubbed. Anyone have any suggestions?
