Hair Loss On Legs While On Finasteride

Hello!
I'm on the 8 month of treatment on finasteride, and I'm noticing a weird side effect. I'm losing my hair on lower legs, and it's not friction from the socks. It's really weird. I really got hairy legs, so it was easy to notice. The area has become so smooth, no hairs on it. And i see it's getting larger. It's only on my left leg, but it's beginning to start on my right leg too.

I'm going to quit finasteride, because of the weirds effects it has on my body (libido, mood altering and hair loss on body)

I don't know if it is caused by finasteride but this is happening to me too. I do have thyroid problems too so it could be that.

I doubt it's your thyroid. I lost a lot of hair on my shin/calf area about, idk, maybe 5-6 months into finasteride. Some of it came back later, still thin though.
