maintain probably but some people report regrowth with finasteride.

You're doing fine. Start propecia, see where you're at in 6 months.

Diffuse thinning typically responds pretty well to treatment. Get on propecia and nizoral (see if you can handle the 2% every 3 days) at the very least.

yeh im on nizoral now , i should order some finasteride soon! ......do you guys think its that bad because of the strong flash?
You don't look that bad. Only fellow baldies will notice your thinning. Normal people will think you still have a full head of hair. finasteride will most likely fill that thin spot up.

the thing is someone noticed the other day ! thats why im panicking .. it was under bright light tho i think .. i need something to thicken my hair up a bit . so it wont be noticeable .

Reminds me of my first "dude, you're balding" remark. But mine came at the age of 17!!
Sorry to say this but it does look like you're thinning on top. Even under a strong light, you still shouldn't see that much scalp when your hair is at that length.
However, you're still young and you still have a good amount of hair to work with so it's good that you caught it early. As stated already, jump on finasteride to go with your nizoral. If you're lucky, then it will thicken up your hair. But you must be patient. finasteride thickened up my hair but I only noticed a difference after about 10 months into it.

did u notice sufficient gains with finasteride after 10 months? ..........how long will it take for my hair to be noticeably bald .? how can i tell if its going at a fast rate .

Depends what you mean by "sufficient". I was only a slight diffuse thinner, so the fact that my hair overall got thicker was a pleasant surprise. I was only looking to maintain the hair and get regrowth on my hairline, temples, and crown. And yes, it continued to thicken past the 10 month mark up until about the 15th month.
As for the other questions, only pictures can answer those. Take them every month or so from now on.

it was a good friend of mine!...he was right behind me ...at the computer desk ...but theres 2 major bright lights above ..and hes like dude are u balding !!...and then hes like yeaa i think ur balding ....and im like where trying to play it off .. and you couldnt really describe a certain spot !! made me feel self-concious the whole night !

You should start finasteride asap. Read through the success story section and you will see there are people with more severe balding comparing to you getting back their full head of hair. Good luck.

i think he was the first one to notice really ....im thinking cuz i was directly under bright light or he wouldnt be able to tell ...
