I've heard that grapefruit juice enhances the effects of the drug so let's say you take 0.5 mg of dutasteride then drinking with a glass of grapefruit juice will mean your getting a stronger dose as dutasteride is dose dependant unlike finasteride . Of course it's not financially possible to take more than 1 pill a day so taking with grapefruit juice will it mean your getting the most out of a 0.5 dose ? Will this help and is there any risks ?

i heard that drinking your own semen works

Actually grapefruit juice is a potent inhibitor of the CYP3A4 enzyme so drinking with dutasteride could raise your steady-state plasma levels of the drug meaning more is in your system.

Don't do it, even before I opened your thread I knew you were referring to that enzyme. It will give you only a very very small benefit, you don't need it, dutasteride already does what it should do when taken consistently. Also potentially your liver will have to work harder to breakdown the drug, not a great idea since you're on this medication till your last breath.

Rub nails, don't rub d1ck should be the new motto for the natural brigade :uglylol:

On a serious note some people seem to have done that with their nails and said it worked but no pictures, also no scientific evidence. Nails and hair are both made from keratin, can't see any other link though myself.
