As the title suggests, has anyone done this whilst wearing a hair system?

I'd wear like an Under Armour skull cap over hair on a roller coaster, just to reduce the air pressure stress on the hair from the wind. May look a little funny though.

Good question, I've wondered this myself, was thinking about going to Six Flags

That's a good idea! You would have no chance with a nornal hat I guess. At least with zip lining you would be wearing a helmet etc, so would have to be super careful when taking it off.

I am a big coaster fan, and I have done this thousands of times without any problems whatsoever. Hair systems do not offer any significant resistance to on-coming wind - it just rushes over and through the hair - so there is no way a system is going to come off if it is properly attached. If you are in a carriage with another person they are going to get a very good view of your fully exposed hairline, albeit it probably won't be the focus of their attention, so if they don't know you're wearing and you don't want them to know, your attachment has to look sharp.

The only qualification to this is rides that end up in water. A fast encounter with water is a risk, especially with a skin unit. I would sit that one out.

I can’t work out if this is a serious suggestion or not

Yea i was serious. It seems as if it would reduce some of the wind pressure/stress on the hair and bond.
I just cant see riding roller coasters all day long without something over the hair.
I suppose it wud look a bit odd or silly though.
U got any suggestions my guy?

I don’t wear a hair system (although I’ve been researching them for years) but I suspect if the bond was fresh then roller coasters shouldn’t be an issue.

I think wearing anything over the hair will be worse. Why? Because it provides resistance.

If we are talking about let's say a lace with a poly horseshoe then there's so little for the air to catch onto.
