Hey everyone.
II went and got a hair piece from HCM in April as I am 36 y/o and at NW6 or most likely 7. I had been shaving my head for over a decade. I left HCM after one month and decided to do it on my own. They were way too expensive, quality was too low for the price and the distance made it very time consuming. After the first month I've been doing this on my own. Unfortunately, I can't put tape on the front hairline because my coordination sucks...and due to that, I have to take the whole thing off every week which turns out to be a 2 hour ordeal. Aside from that, they cut my hair really short so unless I actively make sure I had all around the edges, you can see the tape or base. I notice i'm more self conscious now about the piece and it being detectable than I was when I was bald, about being bald. It doesn't help that the HC hair, which was originally black, has turned brown with blonde highlights over time.
So, due to cost, time and anxiousness about detection, I'm about to go back to my shaved head again. I did (about 10 weeks ago) order replacement hair from hairdirect for the first time which is about to ship to me. If I am able to sell it, that's great. If not, I'll wear it for 2-3 months and then get rid of it. I've attached some pics of the pre-cut style. The rest of the info is as follows:
Color: (black)
Back: 1BT
Temple: 1B2T
Sides: 1B2T
Dimensions:
Shape: Oval
Front to back: 22.5CM
Side to side: 16CM
Partial Cap
Contour/Circumference of head: 58CM
Density: Medium Light (70-90 hairs per sq cm)
Pre-cut style: Images attached.
I paid $500 for this. If the buyer turns out to be local to southern california, they will get along with this all the sealed glues ( have 4 sealed walker 1.5oz glue), tapes and anything else that I may have relating to this.
Thanks for reading and I hope you have a good night.
