Getting A System In The Midlands Uk

Hi All,

Ive been reading round the hair loss forums & im looking for some advice.

Im norwood 5-6 & I had been booked for a transplant. Ive decided before going down that route im going to try a system first. Alot of the trasplant results ive seen for my level of baldness i wouldnt be satisfied with the result.

So this brings me here. Ive no idea where to start. I think for my first one id like to go through a specialist & get it cut in etc by them.

Can anyone recommend a supplier & fitter in the UK thats a reasonable price & not gonna rip me off. I am in the East Midlands but could travel as far as Birmingham or Manchester.

Any help or guidance would be really appreciated.

I am always wary of overselling hair systems as a solution, because they are not for everyone. A lot of guys have difficulty coping with the idea of wearing something "fake", especially if they want to keep what they have done private, so there can also be a bit of paranoia around being busted.

However, if you feel you can cope with those issues, or at least are willing to give it a try, it can be a great solution. It's cheap, reliable, painless, reversible and provided you choose your supplier well you can get a terrific result - which looks like you never lost your hair. None of the other solutions (transplants, tattoos, medication, concealers etc.) can really be relied on to give you a decent-looking head of hair - only a system will do that. If (like me) your hairloss has progressed beyond a certain point it's the only solution apart from shaving. Unless you have recently spent time researching hair systems, you will probably be surprised and impressed by the way the technology has progressed and the naturalness of the systems that are now available.

So if your hairloss is bothering you, it's worth looking into.
