So, it’s around six years since I started visiting this forum and just a couple of weeks short of five years since the day I made my first post.
Amazing how time flies, and even more amazing at how much my life has changed, a significant amount due to things I have learned from this very forum.
Sadly however, it’s time that I move on and leave HairLossTalk.com as a fond memory rather than a place to visit daily.
During my stay here at HairLossTalk.com I have encountered many terrific people, and even more fascinating characters and individuals. Several people I have chatted with here I would probably even consider genuine friends if the geography of our locations were more practical.
Unfortunately, HairLossTalk.com also has its share of bigots and semi-fascist bullies, some of which refuse to accept my presence and literally hate me simply for existing; it is this element of HairLossTalk.com which is the main reason that I’m going to take a back seat.
I realise that this may seem like I’m letting them win, but to be honest I really don’t have the desire to defend myself here any longer. For me HairLossTalk.com was somewhere I would like to just try to help people who have had similar problems with hair loss and maybe I can help show people that even when things seem at their blackest, life can turn around. However when I’m sniped at or even told I have no right to an opinion purely because of my gender or perceived sexuality, well frankly being a member here is simply too painful and frustrating.

- Become fitter and more toned than at any time in my life that I can recall.[/*:m:5unxij7l]
- Dropped a huge (and gross) amount of body weight.[/*:m:5unxij7l]
- Chatted and shared ideas with some terrific people.[/*:m:5unxij7l]
And best of all...
- Been able to help and offer advice to others.[/*:m:5unxij7l]
