Hi,

When I exposed my hairline (dealing with 30-40º summer heat), I didn't use the mini-tabs, I used (and still do), Walkers No Shine Contour that I placed about 1cm behind the hairline, and then GhostbondXL for the last centimeter between the tape and the hairline.

When it was REALLY hot, the hairline would start to get "sticky" after about 3 days. I also wore a hairstyle that I pulled the hair back, so lots of pressure on it.

Redoing the hairline is easy, peel it back to just before it hits the tape, use 99% alcohol to clean the lace and the skin, and re-apply three very thin layers of GhostbondXL (or whatever glue you use), and then reattach the hairline. You can use a flat toothpick to apply the glue.

I got tired of the hairline issue, and now ONLY use tape (new hairstyle).

Best of luck,

Steve

stick it? what is this

A brand of tape, which I found NO company info online for, and bought it based on a recommendation.

Made by Sunshine Tape Co.

It didn't stick and gave me a rash, but at least it was cheap. Wound up throwing it out.

My head itched like MAD for the first week or so, it's just part of the game.

I would try and switch to the Walkers No shine contour tapes, see if that makes a difference.

I switched recently to the Max Sport version of the scalp protector, and find it works better.

If you are still itching after the next removal/re-attachment, maybe another tape brand would work for you?

I would NOT give up on Walkers, just yet.

There is Supertape, and Dalvyn. There are some other, smaller manufacturers, but have fewer options.

It depends on where you are, and what is available.

Again, give yourself some time to adjust, you may be throwing money away for no reason.

now i watch, i didn't use it well the walker tape scalp protector. I did put little protector spray to the cotton wool, and my head was cleared with that.
this may be the problem

Ya, the stuff works very well, for me. Without it... the system will almost slide off my greasy head!!!

An hour should be fine. You can leave it for longer, if needed. It won't affect the color.
