This is how I clean my lace system:
1. Spray the taped areas with alcohol, and get them very wet.
2. Leave the system in a closed, plastic container for at least an hour or more.
3. Spray with more alcohol, and gently remove the tape.
4. Spray the system again, and use a microfiber cloth to gently rub off any remaining glue.
5. Wash system in tepid water with a shampoo for color treated hair.
