Friends,
I’ve been on finasteride since 11/1. I started minoxidil a couple of months ago, and I just started using dermaroller. Oh, and I have been using nizoral a couple times a week for a month or so.

I wish I had taken better pictures in November, but here are my comparisons. I know the progress isn’t awe inspiring, but I think I am starting to see some changes. I would really, really love your input. I also want to say thank you to everyone who has answered my questions over the last couple of months. Stay strong my brothers!
Tom

It looks a little better. However as you were told before the angle of the photo may be deceiving us. If you have more photos to share it would be easier to give an opinion.

Hi guys. I have more photos, but not with the same resolution so I don’t think they are helpful. I am so mad at myself for not taking better pictures back in November.
I can take some additional similar angle pictures tonight as well.

Looks like you made the right choice. It's always best to start earlier than later. You had noticeably miniaturization in you previous pics. I would even consider maintaining to be a success in your case.

I can definitely see an improvement.

What kind of camera did you use to get those HD shots??

PS: my skin looks SO much better than it did last year because I’m now on Retin-a. I promise it will change how you feel about yourself and your face if you give it a chance! I feel more confident than I have in ages with my new skin routine.

LOL....is there an equivalent Samsung S9 app for that??
Haha I’ve always thought Samsungs have better quality pictures. I got Really close to the mirror and looked at what the phone was taking a picture of so it was perfectly in focus. I was really surprised at how great the pictures turned out. I wish I had some exactly like that from November.

It's a topical retin-a? I really wanna hop on it, but doctors are so reluctant to prescribe it in the UK ;( Right now I'm settling for differin and azelaic acid.

Hello friend. Yes, it’s topical Retin-a cream. My strength is 0.025%, but there are different stronger strengths. There are also more options than just the cream (there’s a gel, a micro, a liquid, and maybe more).
That is strange to me that it isn’t commonly prescribed there. Any idea why that is? I use the dermaroller .25 as well, and I am thrilled with the results. I am excited because I know the retin-a will continue to be more effective over time.
I am wishing you the best my brother across the pond.

The only was you'd really be able to get it prescribed in the UK is for acne, but doctors prefer benzoyl peroxide, differin, azelaic acid, Duac and antibiotics ;(
