Sounds like it could be a nice addition to a finasteride/minoxidil regimen. I'm aware of the potential systemic effects.

Ok after doing some research its not all that. Expensive and ineffective...

Flutamide on the other hand sounds interesting. With finasteride and flutamide, you block both the 5 alpha reductase and the AR receptors... Seems like a solid preventative/maintenance approach. Looks like the safety profile is quite good too, side effects seem roughly on a par with finasteride, potential gynecomastia being the worst, though rare.

Yes I have also read about Flutamide in the past being the better option. Personally I wouldn't risk it, just feels unsafe to me. With that said, I do have Dutasteride now but I am unsure whether to try it. I wanted to give the finasteride some temporary help with the new hairs coming in!

I've tried fluridil. While also using other treatments. It helps on my hairline anyway. It's not nearly as good as ru for the crown. But I'm finding the combination of both fluridil and ru to be better than ru alone on my difficult hairline. Also using minoxidil.

Flutamide can readily cross the blood-brain barrier, and it is a silent antagonist of the androgen receptor. Silent antagonists are PURE antagonists. If flutamide were to go systemic, which I hypothesize it will with very little uncertainty, side effects would far outweigh any potential benefits.

Sure, it may work wonders for hair loss in theory. But it will most likely turn you into a women as well.
Choose your battles wisely my friend, especially when it comes to hormones.

The funny thing is, most prescription medications many of us are using are used for castration, and for transgender individuals (that is men who want to become woman). (Spironolactone, finasteride, Dutasteride, Flutamide, Bicalutamide, etc..)

There is a post on here, (http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interac...om-NW5-the-power-of-super-aggressive-regimens!) of transgender individual who had amazing regrowth and restoration of hair while taking medications specifically intended to feminize themselves. Now for that individual that is great news, but i'm sure for the majority of us, we do not plan on becoming transgender.

Stay away from flutamide

Also I thought Fluridil (or maybe specifically Eucapil) was not suppose to be able to go systematic because it degrades in aqueos environement. Holy **** does anything not have the potential to go systematic that slows hairloss!!!

CB-03-01 is probably the closest thing.
