Debatable. RU is a drug that was dropped at phase 2, and CB has been approved for acne treatment as winlevi, and starting phase 3 (i think) soon as breezula. CB is said to be safer as it is more studied and is actually being pushed forward, but recent results from winlevi suggested a possible HPA axis shutdown which spooked everybody. But a combo of 5ARIs and a topical AA is the most effective and safe thing out there for us. Check it out, there are a quite a few threats about it.Not a big fan of topicals but haven’t looked into RU nor CB. Are they something that is feasible long term?
I dont see the need to add anything thats not fully tested and marketed. We’ll see down the line.Debatable. Could be in your head. To me that’s thinning(me), to others I guess not. Try getting opinions from others.Much better. You were going to Nw3 before finasteride and also you had very thin front(I remember you from your old threads)
I think you are a good finasteride responder.I have been using finasteride for 20 months and it is still thinning
Seems like you are not getting worse and your density is still excellent. I think you are stabilizing your situation at this point.About 20 days out from the 2 year mark. Any thoughts on how its looking? Feel like my temples are getting thinner still but I guess its not too drastic. Still only on 1mg finasteride everyday.

Given a family of NW6/7’s on both sides, none of which have ever used Finasteride, (father NW3 but severely diffuse all over) would you think a surgeon would consider me a candidate for minor session (1.5k graphs) in like 3ish years. I would be 26 y/o.Seems like you are not getting worse and your density is still excellent. I think you are stabilizing your situation at this point.
Yes, as long as you let them know you been a member of a hair loss forum and have researched the pros and cons of hair transplant surgery at your age. I once had a consultation with a hair transplant surgeon and he said he would normally not take my case but because I have been on these forums for years and know so much about hair transplantation, he said he would do it. So it depends on you and the doctor. There have been plenty of guys in worse shape than yours and younger than you who had transplants so it can be done.Given a family of NW6/7’s on both sides, none of which have ever used Finasteride, (father NW3 but severely diffuse all over) would you think a surgeon would consider me a candidate for minor session (1.5k graphs) in like 3ish years. History of balding on both sides. Rare for men in my family to keep their hair. Regardless, I am on finasteride for over two years now. Nothing more I can do that isn’t as convenient as popping a pill. Probably settle with a transplant in a couple years, only 22 currently. Just asking if people see what I see.Looks like a very slow recession. Could be maturing hairline. October 2020 to now I see hardly any difference. Maybe a little recession March 2020 to October? You definitely did well documenting the hairline with consistent looking pictures, well done. You could show it to a dermatologist but I guarantee you they will ask about family history and if there is no history of balding they will not prescribe finasteride. Too early to start treatment for something that might not be there.
It seems to be preventing it pretty well. I wish you the best of luck. I recently started finasteride and it looks like things are stabilized? I only really needed maintenance and I just hope it stops it. I'm 31.History of balding on both sides. Rare for men in my family to keep their hair. Your hairline is still fine. It's better than mine if you see my pictures. The right side of my head is maybe slightly worse than yours but the left side is unquestionably worse. Just stick to treatment and hope for the best, you are doing what you can to stop it and if it doesn't work then at least you tried and anyone who insults you for it is an a**h**.Heres somewhat of a yearly progression. I thinks it clear to see some slightly furthering miniaturization in the corner of the hairline. Agreed?
