32 months of finasteride mono treatment. I think its pretty clear and agreeable that there is slight worsening of recession. Just glad that this is recoverable with a transplant which I will more than likely get in about 2 years time.

Opinions welcomed, would you concur with my analysis through these pictures?

In all honesty you are imagining things.Your hair is as good as it was in the beginning.I followed that thread.

Eh. I'd agree for the most part. Finasteride is for sure doing its part but there has been minor recession.

There are two possible events occurring for you. You either are balding at a snail's pace or you have stabilized for now. Finasteride is just your insurance policy just in case your are thinning at a snail's pace. Your hair looks good still. No aggressive loss at this point.

Yea I’d agree. Hopefully this snail’s pace thing remains consistent over my lifetime. Should be easy to combat with transplants and meds. My father has the same exact pattern of loss, his is just severely diffused/thinned out to which you can see all of the scalp. He’s 60 though and never has tried any treatments.

How old are you? Your right temple looks the same. Cannot tell how the left temple is since it’s not fully captured in the pics. It doesn’t seem like the hairline has receded. Difficult for us to tell without before and after measurements. But overall it seems like you have maintained well which is what one should hope for with Finasteride. Congrats.

From my experience as long as you are proactive, you should be able to maintain well into middle age.

23. Yea, purposely didn't capture my other temple, that one was always a bit more receded and hasn’t changed. Perhaps Ill upload more complete pictures in my next update, too lazy to do so now. I was pretty OCD with this hair loss thing for the first 2 years of finasteride so I have hundreds of pictures for reference points and to show surgeons of my maintenance when it comes down to it.

As for before and after measurements, haven’t seen or heard too many people take measurements. I have none from before so it wouldn’t conclude anything. Appreciate the input.

More that I think your hair is unchanged, still better than November 2019 baseline.

Your regimen is holding strong, nothing to worry about.
