Again, I no longer resemble that person in any way. That person was on here up to 20 hours a day and essentially never slept or worked or left the house. Some times miracles happen in life if you trust in Goddess in humility and faith.you didn’t have to see my *** in a thong sucking a lollypop with red lipstick on an elderly man
There used to be a fair number of cis-women on here and they would DM me and the stories are heartbreaking and often, seemingly untreatable. Even though more is better in terms of estradiol for XY's who want changes, for some reason, loading up on estrogen doesn't work for cis-females and they often have little success similar to males on here. Either they don't give them enough estrogen and spironolactone in my opinion or the estrogen receptors are unresponsive to more estrogen since they have been flooded with it their entire lives.@Esquire Janey I would like to know you opinion about female pattern hair loss too, they lost hair in diffuse pathern even with high levels of estradiol, why you think that happens?
we are in the same boat.I think that kind of hair loss can be multifactorial.Im now taking a multivitamin and a vitamin D supplement(since its linked to diffuse hair loss) and a topical corticosteroid few times a week.Diffuse hair loss can be Telogen Effluvium or Chronic Telogen Effluvium. I think that diffuse hair loss that is androgenetic gets easly reversed by dutasteride min and so on.@Esquire Janey I would like to know you opinion about female pattern hair loss too, they lost hair in diffuse pathern even with high levels of estradiol, why you think that happens?

I think theres something else going on.
I still remember 3-4 yrs ago when i had this f*****g crap of diffuse hair loss i tought ok thats easy cause diffuser are often hyperesponder… and at the end im here lol
You ever did a scalp biopsy? I think I will do one soon because I really suspect this diffuse thinning coming from auto immune diseasewe are in the same boat.I think that kind of hair loss can be multifactorial.Im now taking a multivitamin and a vitamin D supplement(since its linked to diffuse hair loss) and a topical corticosteroid few times a week.Diffuse hair loss can be Telogen Effluvium or Chronic Telogen Effluvium. PCOS is a tough nut to crack. Progesterone and its use seems to be almost indecipherable based upon my last wiki perusal. I never find anything substantive enough to latch onto at least in terms of the most "successful" transition possible that would come from P4 but cis-women might be different. I use P4 now but switched to taking it orally. I think it is largely likely to do nothing for hair growth and it might harm it.Sad thing is, Estradiol is pro-inflammatory too.
The 6 new findings suggest pro-inflammatory action with all being positively associated with circulating estradiol: serum amyloid P (SAP), soluble IL-1 receptor 2 (sIL-1RII), resistin, chemokine (C–C motif) ligand-21 (CCL21), basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF2), and IL-6
That's one of the reasons why taking progestins help some women with thinning, cause they mediate inflammatory effects of estrogen domination.
Overall, im pretty sure that inflammation is the main cause of any hairloss, because its a predecessor of every disorder from hair cycle disruption to any autoimmune disorder (fungal, viruses, allergies, you name it).
The difference between male and female hairloss is basically that women need PCOS to make a lot of andogens, and men make them by default. The other minor difference is skull anatomy, because of it women are more prone to diffuse thinning.
Other causes are the same for both: CAH and ncCAH, Prolactin, Estrogens (as mentioned above), stress, digestive issues/bad diet, and, in some cases, gene mutations.
no i didnt. It could be some diffuse alopecia areata that could be mistaken for Androgenetic Alopecia but again im using topical corticosteroid so im fineYou ever did a scalp biopsy? I think I will do one soon because I really suspect this diffuse thinning coming from auto immune disease
<rolls eyes>. You need to use the hair you have and not repine over a future that is likely never to come.no i didnt. It could be some diffuse alopecia areata that could be mistaken for Androgenetic Alopecia but again im using topical corticosteroid so im fine
I don't see any baldness at all. Presumably you are hormonally female. My hair looks particularly good today, just the hair cut is a bit if a mess ngl. Higher dosages dutasteride rly did change everything. minoxidil gave me hairline gains but dutasteride at higher than standard dosages improved the diffuse, thickness and overall hair quality.
My hair was worse months ago. Pre hrt I was balding so fast even with dutasteride and oral minoxidil. Only hrt improved my hair but always with the help of dutasteride, minoxidil and possibly bica. Only estradiol would never help my hair loss because my genetic still produce a lot of DHT even without testosteroneI don't see any baldness at all. Presumably you are hormonally female.

Btw I didnt mean to do a 5 month update but I was bored today and decided to read this thread from November to now to see if I could find any pic from 6 months ago. It seems like my hair has improved a lot in the last 5 months wtf!?
