Hey, all!

I've been using finasteride 1mg since I'm 18. I'm now 25. I don't know if my hair is still receiding or not. Sometimes if looks like so, sometimes it doesn't. Here goes a picture of me when I was 17 and some new ones I just took right now. Do you think it's a good idea to make a transplant?

Do you think it has receded since I was 17? And how many grafs more or less do you think I would need?

I have been comparing my fotos since I was 14 and I have the impression they have never changed, i have always had this big forehead. I'm of russian descent and some of my family members also have such forehead. I still take finasteride, anyways... But could my matured hairline simply be like this?

And sorry, i didn't understand how you want the new picture... From farther away?

Me when I turned 15 and me right now, that is, ten years later... Has it changed at all? And can baldness begin so early in life, right after puberty?

It hasn't changed that much looks like finasteride is really working for you

Nw3, mines similar and I'm 20.

Also, I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but losing some weight will do some great things for your face...

Early stage nw3.

Also if you lose 10 or so pounds your face will lean out nicely.

Thanks for your reply! So, since you seem to be a senior member and know more about these things, could you tell me if it makes any sense that my hair hasn't receded anymore since I reached puberty and considering that I started taking finasteride only at age 18? I have been comparing several old pictures and it hasn't changed at all, and I have an old uncle whose hairline looks very similar to mine. If there the possibility of me maybe be taking finasteride for no reason? Is there a way to be sure my hair is gonna recede any more if I stop taking it?

Here goes a picture of my uncle, notice his temps... He is almost 60yo, already, and I'm sure he doesn't even know that finasteride exists.

Don't give your uncle's hairline any thought. Look to your father, his father, then your mother's father and his father. That will be closer to probability for you. By the way, did finasteride give you decreased libido?

Frankly you'll never know if you don't quit. It is hard to predict your future pattern. You've probably maintained on finasteride and I wouldn't quit if I were you.

Hair loss is non linear - sometimes people lose their hair until a nw3 and then don't lose again for another 10 years.

Some people start losing their hair and don't stop until its all gone and it can happen in 5 years.
