Finasteride is definitely thickening up all of my hair including the front, but it only started happening after I dropped the foam. This is my second time on Finasteride. The first time I used it for 6 months and my hair looked incredible, but I quit because I foolishly thought I had pre-gyno, when it was just muscle soreness from working out.

This second time, I used finasteride along with Foam and have never shed more in my entire life. I followed my instincts, and dropped the foam and now my hair is looking really good and thick.

This is what works for me, but I don't have aggressive male pattern baldness. I'm 39 and now a NW2, but I was headed for 2.5 to 3 with the foam.

Before I started rogaine, I was on finasteride and nizoral by itself and my crown thickened considerably. My hairline stayed the same though but imrpoved DRAMATICALLY upon adding rogaine. I don't know, minoxidil and finasteride must work synergistically (sp?).
