Dutasteride has destroyed my hairline

I've heard a few horror stories of dutasteride ruining people's hair but I never thought that it would happen to me, my hair everywhere else seems to have improved, my crown is looking thicker but my hairline has been destroyed.

This is before switching from finasteride to dutasteride

Here it is after 18 months on dutasteride + oral min

The increase in scalp testosterone I guess. It's weird because my crown is looking really good now but it was thinning on finasteride.

idk, maybe. I keep freaking out because my pharmacy keeps changing brands of dutasteride and it's making me shed like a motherfucker. They even changed my oral min brand recently so I'll probably go through another fkin shed.

Same crap happened to me when I changed my oral min brand. Definitely more shed but not too crazy. Now I stick to the original drug only

Your hairline has good density in the photo.

Age is going to do bad things to everybody.

There's nothing wrong with your hair density. Enjoy life, it's too short.
