Have you thought about things like Aloe or Emu oil? Surely they don't bother your scalp?

Also, have you used finasteride before? Maybe dutasteride isn't for you. It sure wasn't for me. I have gotten better results on finasteride.

One more thing, have you ever looked into regular Zix? I know of MANY people who could not get rid of scalp irritation to save their life and Zix knocked it out in only a couple of days.

Did someone tried 0,1 mg everyday and NOT 0,5 every five days?

Maybe the 0,5mg dose raises too much testo and some people are not able to balance this higher level. Just an idea..
I read that Dr Rittmaster injected testo to "pesudoermafrodities" and the shedding starts.

I think 0,1mg is good

side effects not so big with 0,1mg works better as finasteride (Grafic)
and 0,1mg nearly so good as 0,5mg
Inhibits Typ1 and Typ2

and with 0,1mg
Increases the testosterone level not so high
and Estrogen not so high

JWM, yes I have used EMU and ALOE before and they have not worked. Recently I tried emu again and my scalp started burning and I had to wash it out.

I was on finasteride for years. I took 6 months off and then started on dutasteride. My hair has been getting worse and worse since starting dutasteride and the scalp pain came with it, now that I think about it. Maybe I should hop back on finasteride.

I have not tried regular zix simply because of the failure I have experienced with other topicals. Maybe I will give it a try.

I washed my hair a couple hours before taking this picture. I have thinning all over the top which you can't really see in the pic. All of these pics are taken under harsh, harsh lighting. I believe that my hair is getting worse and worse. I believe that smoking pot is adding to the inflammation in my crown, which is with me always.

Now your hair is DARK and STRONGER and the bald spot is reduced.

Andrea, that is not the case.

I do not see progress in these pictures. I think that it looks worse.

I am taking the 0.5 mg a day. I was thinking of trying finasteride again but I am too scared of what would happen.

I also think that it is imperative to say that photographs can look significantly different based on small variabilities.
