Does Revivogen smell bad and is it noticeable?? How Bad??

The smell is ok (bit like the dough kids play with), I've grown to like it. The only problem I have with it, is the staining, but since I cut my hair back and am now able to rub into scalp, it's not so bad. Anyways, I apply it at night, then wash it off in the morning.

Combining it with minoxidil foam and Nizoral, I've seen noticable results. Baseline photos taken about 2 weeks ago

As far as I understand, apart from spironolactone (the 2% liquid does stink, big time) Revivogen is the main anti DHT topical. Correct me if I'm wrong; still trying to get my head around all the info on this site.

I haven't used it for about 3 years - but back in 2004/2005 it smelled a bit like iodine - not too disagreeable.

The new formula is much better. Its now a transparent light brown color that does not really stain. It smells fine. Here is a tip they recommend which they did not before. Do not store the dropper in the bottle anymore. You need to store the bottle with the original cap. It keeps the Revivogen from becoming darker brown and staining more for some reason. Now they recommend that you do not rub it in anymore unless it drips down. I find it goes on much better if you follow those tips. I think Revivogen works best on early diffuse thinning but not on people with significant thin areas.

Just got my first 3-month supply of revivogen. Wondering if anyone has any tips on application? Do you put on the minoxidil first let it dry for a bit and then apply the revivogen? or some other order?

Now they recommend that you do not rub it in anymore unless it drips down.

Where'd you hear that House? The directions on the bottle say to massage it in for 10 to 20 seconds. Besides, I think MOST of it would roll up and and drip down the scalp UNLESS you rubbed it in.

JWM, I just recently got a new order and they had this extra tips sheet along with the old instructions. I know what the bottle says but the tip sheet was not stressing to rub it in. I remember the separate tip sheet recommended something slightly different and I was surprised but I could be mistaken. I manage to apply it without getting it to drip so much. If anyone just got a new order let me know if you got that separate tip sheet and post what it says. That was the first time I ever got that tip sheet in my order. I think I threw it out. I am wondering if anyone has a copy of it too. I definitely remember it said you should not store the dropper in the bottle.
