Does Permanent Hair Dye Ruin Hair Growth?

Hey guys, havn't done it yet.

I have greying hair, I use a temporary hair dye that I use around once a month to cover up my grey hairs on my sides. Have a few greys on top also.

One friend recommended getting permanent black hair dye so I don't have to bother once a month doing the semi permanent way. Will this further effect my hair knowing I am on Finastride for a year now and also Minoxidil twice a day for 3 years.

I have hair but def not happy with it - problem with my left temple.

Not if you just dye the gray hair and gray roots when they appear and use something gentle like Paul Mitchel N plus Color.
