I am thinking about going on 5% Minoxidil with added caffeine, azelaic acid and retionic acid (Xandrox 5)

Hopefully after it gets me through 5 years, I am thinking about hopping on SM04554.

Does this make any sense?

Some people here have been expecting new treatments for 2 decades, thinking next-gen cure was next door. In fact, all derm/tricho will tell you not to trust future treatments until they are on the market. For too many years, we've seen treatments labelled as the hair loss industry game changer fail ridiculously.

No it doesnt make sense. That wont get you through any period of time at all. It wont work. It wont work even for a year, nevermind 5 years. Let me guess, you think your penis is going to fall off if you take finasteride/dutasteride, right? The PFS crowd are the same types of people who think 5g causes corona virus.
I have no idea what SM04554 is, but I can guarantee you two things. Firstly, it wont be as effective as you hope it is going to be. Secondly, it wont be available when you hope it will be.

Hi. First of all, I have used finasteride orally and topically for a short period of time. That being said, I think that it’s the shittiest idea to play with my hormones without a doctor’s supervision nor a baseline blood test.

However, I am sure I will wait for at least 3 months after quarantine for the waiting line (I am sure a lot of people will see their endos, derms etc.).

Hence, I need something to keep me going without possibly messing with my future bloodwork for at least 4-6 months anyways.
