I read that it used to be used to treat high blood pressure. THen now I also read it causes it? Which is it?

Its used to lower blood pressure. Im using oral minoxidil and when I was taking 10mg doses daily I got my blood pressure checked and it was within normal range.

I used it on my scalp and my bp went thru the roof. Be. Carefully. Minoxidil can cause fluid retention. And then yes. It can raise your blood pressure

Try using it. And monitor your bp. Check your ankles. If u retain fluid u will most likely see it there
