Does Hair Loss Caused By Sebborheic Dermatitis Have Distinct Features?

I'm not sure if my hair loss is hormonal or because of sebborheic dermatitis. I have a dermatologist who thinks it's hormonal so she's giving me treatment for that, but I do have symptoms of sebborheic dermatitis- does anyone know if there are some distinct features when hair loss is due to this condition (like is it patchy or something?) Thanks
