Does conditioner really thicken hairs? If it "smooths" out the strands you would think it would make the diameter "smaller" so does it really thicken hairs? I tend to have more body without but of course the hair feels tangled in the wet state. I am talking about non-proteins blends. The protein blends do seem to offer some addtional thickness.

I have NEVER had any luck with conditioner increasing volume and I've tried a lot. In fact, its usually counter productive. Try GOT 2b Powder Volumizing Powder. I made a new post about this stuff and if you are looking for volume, this is what you need. Cheap too.

Actually looking for single hair thickening/swelling. My hair is so diffuse I can get the volume pumped look but the hairs are thin so it does not look that good.

I need a product to fatten up each hair. Nioxin is not too bad. Seems to thicken nicely. Any other products like this?
The glycerol and glycoproteins fatten the hair strand up.
