It’s hard to say but given your age and rate of loss, you should DEFINITELY get on finasteride. For all you know you could be a great responder.

I've been on 5% minoxidil for 5-6 weeks now, I tried to book GP appointment today to refer me to a dermatologist but all times were booked so I'll have to go tomorrow. Before I left for uni last week most of my family said they see a huge improvement since it all started. I've started before on others posts that the idea of short hair/balding doesnt bother me, it is the fact that I'm sooo confused what it is,I've been told stuff here, derma told me different thing, and another doctor told me another thing, that's why Im going to book an appointment to get it over with and do what I have to do.

You are a poor candidate for hair transplant as a diffuse thinner, especially with a nw6 pattern. Don’t think of it as an option at all.

Prp has some evidence that it can improve individual strand thickness but showed no difference in hair count. There are anecdotal reports of prp making hair worse. I don’t think the evidence justifies paying thousands for it.

Really your only options are to continue rogaine and be happy with the time it gives you until you diffuse thin to a nw6 or try adding propecia. Those are really the only options.

You still have a decent amount of hair (and hairs) but you'll continue to lose. It's impossible to predict how fast but the pattern kind set in already. Do whatever you do (I don't wanna say do this or that) but you are definitely experiencing male pattern baldness. No doubt like other guys said prior. What about your temples? How's hair there?

Surprisingly I have lots of very small hair growing under my temples which is really weird, I was looking at old pictures i'd say i've been norwoord 1.5/2 for the last 3-4 years, I only noticed that I have receding hair when my hair started falling from scalp.
