So this is my second time getting it SD...Just after starting finasteride.It is completely destroying me,1st time I got it couldnt get rid of it for 4 freaking months,i was shedding like hell because of it.When i got rid of it everything was fine,no shedding,and now SD again and shedding again.Everything i regrew is falling out again...I thought that I knew how to get rid of it but i dont know sh*t...

sounds like finasteride is obviously the problem. Like if I were to say, "this is my second time getting diarrhea... just after eating a block of cheddar cheese"... you would assume it's the cheese.
I dont think its finasteride.Its because kve changed my shampoo.I just want to know how to get rid of it as fast as possible because this hair that im loosing wont grow back.

Bucky, if you ever have problems with diarrhea get yourself some sexy adult diapers. I bet you would look real hot in them. Pas would have to fan herself if she saw you in some.
Im washing my hair daily because i use minoxidil...Head and shoulders is not a good thing for me because it made even more sebum last time...

Allergies are strange things. You might be allergic to something mixed with the pill, or
Finasteride itself.
Try another generic.
There are probably some people allergic to Minoxidil that do get dark circles under their eyes.
You could always give Dutasteride (.5 ml) a try.
That said, I really don't know how Finasteride could cause dandruff (itching, probably allergies).

I called my doctor today and he said that it could be hormones so i dont know...I always take my biotin and zinc with finasteride so it could be that.I am using proscar but i still dont want to use dutasteride because I want to save it for the future when finasteride wont be enough to fight my hairloss.It wouldnt bother me if I only had flakes but each time flakes are getting bigger I am shedding more(insane amounts).
I guess I will have to stop taking finasteride for a week and start using nizoral every day.
Highly doubt finasteride has anything to do with it. I got SD just as a consequence of losing hair. Nizoral should fix it. I also found that "noble formula" product from Amazon fixed it on my face as well as rosacea. It's basically the stuff in head and shoulders in cream form. I also might try brand name Propecia. Should be the same as generic but never know. The shedding is also part of the process.

I had the worst case of seb derm known to man (could literally dip half a finger into my yellow balding scalp), I almost entirely cleared it up by discontinuing my nizoral use, strangely, and adding apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, and cold showers to my routine. I also started nofap, but I doubt that had a major effect. Hope this helps, man, the itching and dandruff really blows.
Maybe finasteride,minoxidil does not cause anything,it doesnt even leave flakes in my scalp...I went to the doctor today and he said it was probably finasteride(not hairloss specialist but derm).Also asked him about my hair loss and he confirmed that I am a diffusive thinner.

Minoxidil is known to cause an increase in dandruff as well as scalp irritation. What's your plan gonna be?? As far as I know,SD doesn't cause hairloss by itself. Unless you scratch your scalp because of the itch and physically cause hair to come out,sd doesn't cause hairloss like male pattern baldness. Or am I missing something?
I know how you feel,this summer I also had SD that bad.I remmember the flakes were so big and thick that when i would pull them out I would also pull out a stand of hair.My derm also told me to add acv but nizoral saved me last time,I was using those dumb *** shampoos like Kelual DS and others that made things even worse,than i took nizoral and scalp cleared out in three weeks.But the good news is that now I am only at the begining,there are no flakes only those greasy white spots all over my scalp.I will try acv and hope that it goes away.
Yeah thats the problem,I dont know either!As soon as I get SD my hair starts to fall out everywhere,I dont even scratch it!Hopefully apple cider vinegar and nizoal will clear things out...
I know,most of the people still get dandruff...But this is SD,flakes are greasy so they cant be removed with a comb.
I will never put a single drop of Head and shoulders on my scalp I swear...it is the reason why my SD progressed 1st time...I am using proscar its made by merck just like propecia but only in higher dosage, and I cut it in fifths...So I think that the brand is safe.The only shampoo that I really like to use is Pura’dor.

That's because of the liquid formula (not the foam), and alchohol is usually an ingredient in the liquid.
It is possible his itch is from hair regrowth.
