Does any minoxidil fit the bill?

It appears that quite a few brands of minoxidil are out there. Is minoxidil minoxidil or do some feel that certain brands are better than others?

5% Minoxidil is 5% Minoxidil and most likely they are made by the same manufacture with different label.

I think people who say that they shed while switching from Rogaine to Kirkland are just paranoid.

off the shelf they are all the same but IMO Dr Lees is the best.

Do you prefer it to the foam, Cassin? If so, why?

Foam smells terrible.

Foam turns to water fast in the hand during the summer in humid climates like mine.

With that said the foam is still better than off the shelf stuff for sure and if I found a good deal on it I would buy some bottles to rotate in.

What about efficacy. Have u noticed a difference between the two in that regard?

No...but I also would constantly rotate the products in random order which whatever bottle I grabbed first.
