GHG,
Trust me baldness is not that simple. My crown is very thin, like yours (actually a little worse). My hairline is intact. The hair in the crown area is thinner and flimsy. Density is 30 percent of what I have on the sides and back. In direct light you see my scalp clearly in the crown region which is appauling to me. I really want to shave this s*** off but my family and friends talk me out of it each time. To them a shaved head is no different from walking around naked on the street, ie total loss of dignity or shameful act. Also I manage 50 people mostly guys. All the f'in guys are Nw1 with thick manes and cool hair styles (some of them are over 40 for cryin out loud). If I shave my head completly I will be the laughing stock of the whole team.
Therefore shaving will not be so simple unless I chose to become a hermit. We live in a f'd up and shallow society.

Dude, if you're shedding even nowhere near as badly as you have been claiming, you should be bald by now and that would be a good reason to drop the minoxidil once and for all. But for some reason I think you've been exaggerating your sheds just a touch  .
