Do you leave your fibres in the bathroom?

I kept my Nanogen in the bathroom for a couple of days right next to the shower, and then I realized it might not be such a good idea since moisture from a hot shower could get them wet and ruin them.

I hope I haven't damaged them already

Is it bad to leave them in the bathroom because of that, or am I worrying for nothing?
