Dkk1 inhibitor and Fgf9

Ive never heard of anyone trying these at home even tho you can buy them online. If someone could give me an educated suggestion on the best vehicle dosage and the best way to apply it, then I would like to try it out. Im tired of trying stupid crap that will grow two hairs at best. Im tired of pissing my life away waiting for the fda. Please lets get so suggestions flowing.

We don't have any DKK1 inhibitor yet... well, you can reduce dkk1 reducing DHT through finasteride. Also, there are a lot of things wich supposedly blocks it... but that's just in-vitro... Things which have never worked in vivo...


As for FGF9... well I'm assuming you are rich, as FGF9 is 50 bucks not for a miligram, but a microgram!... which would be like the most excessively expensive hairloss tretment there will ever be...

Also... we don't know nothing about exogenous FGF9 safety profile... FGF9 is overexpressed in a lot of different kinds of cancer... and that is pretty ****ing dangerous...

Depending on how much is actually needed, 50 bucks for some micrograms may be cheap. Suppose it covers an area of 1cm squared. You have 180-250cm/2 to cover... this would translate to $9,000 - 12,500. Right around the amount that an hair transplant costs. But these numbers are just hypotheticals.

I've read quite a number of studies on FGF9 and haven't come across FGF9 causing cancer. Do you have a source to back up this claim?

Finasteride is virtually casterating people with results that are enough to matter. Yes if your shedding your happy to see it stop but nobody else is counting the hair on your head. They are still investigating the side effects of finasteride. just because its fda approved doesn't mean its safe, that's just covering their asses legally. I don't mean to be negative at all but this to me seems like a logical route to AT LEAST look at. I know there are risks but there are with most diy approaches everyone tries on these forums. I know Kane has a dkk1 inhibitor and I'd gladly take that risk if it brings all of us closer. Im tired of seeing these forums full of negativity I want to try to be productive and supportive so we can all have out lives back.

Be smart and experiment with a small patch at a time. I don't want anyone to be unsafe but we need to at least consider this.

But we don't know how often would we need to apply it...

We don't know but look how much more we know about dermarolling by everyone coming together this seems waaaaaay more promising. Theres a small chance we could have an actual cure.

Yes and theres a loooooooot of it. I guess theyre was a ton of published studies since the early 2000s but it just surfaced again. It could be bs but if we aren't on these forums to try stuff then there is absolutely no point.

It has not been tried here for some reason. We r waiting for someone who want to experiment. I did my fair share of experimentation with new drugs (I was the first on OC and still on it)... Let's see if someone soon would get the Dkk1 inhibitor from Kane... I think Dkk1 inhibition should be something like finasteride+minoxidil combined, assuming the method of delivery works ...

The question is what is the link? Just another way to stop hairloss or to actually regrow.

Apparently the inhibition of dkk1 reactivates dormant stem cells that are still present in a balding area to create a new hair follicle. So regrowth, in theory.
