Did this actor get an hair transplant or a hairpiece

An actor I like, Walton Goggins, has been balding severely in an NW5ish pattern. Some might remember him from The Shield.

By 2008 his hair was looking pretty much gone.

There is no way that Toppik can do with so little hair he had left in '08. So I am thinking hair transplant or Wig. Still don't care, he was awesome in The Shield and is great in Justified.

Could be some type of "Hollywood" concealer or most likely a wig. I think most actors will wear wigs since its easy to access on the sets of most movies or TV shows. I remember AJ Benza admitted to wearing a piece when he had a small part in the last Rocky film. He said it was common for actors to wear it.

I know this thread is old but im going to reply anyway....

My bet is he got a hair transplant. My reason for that is he is mainly a TV show actor as opposed to movies. In the off-season for his shows, he could have gotten one and easily flown under the radar.

One thing i must say is even after his treatment, he looks real good with even with the receding hariline. he pulls of the look real well.

Yeah I agree, looks to be a very good and conservative H/T, he has the jaggered hairline like mine, maybe he went to the same Doctor?
