Daily Wear Tape But Easily Removal From Base?

Just joined, 1st post. Daily wearer, with tape, which I tend to leave in place for days Seems to work, but too difficult to remove form base, and I know it is wearing out the base. Can't afford to keep replacing the system, and need to make it last. Is there a tape that is easily removed from the base, but will give adequate scalp adhesion even if only for a day or 2? I won't mind frequent tape changing, as long as it is easily removable from the base. Thanks.

Honestly don't know what it is. The area I apply tape to is the front, from temple to temple, actually a lazy U section in front, and a very short section at the temples. This base section runs from temple to temple, and is about 5/8 inch wide. The tape removal is damaging it. I suppose even a water soluble glue could do the job. As I mentioned, I wouldn't mind replacing it every day or 3, and I daily wear. The rest of the base is some sort of a web, or net, and the edges are held with clips. No problems with the clips. Thanks.

It sounds like the tape area is not lace (netting), so I presume it is some kind of plastic. Post a picture of your base if you want confirmation. The most popular daywear tape for that kind of base is the white-backing tape. Hair Direct sell it in various shapes and sizes here:

http://www.hairdirect.com/store/hairpiece-tape.aspx#q=NjEz_NjQ1|0__NjE2_NjUx|0&o=0&p=2&i=20

When you take your unit off, you leave the tape on it, and you can reuse it.

As a matter of interest, why do you prefer to detach daily? Is it just to prolong the life of the piece?

I checked the site. I've used some of these tapes. Which of these is easiest to remove from, and kindest to the base? Thanks.

A tape with weak adhesive would be ideal for 1 day use, or a tape with weak adhesive against the base, and stronger adhesive to the scalp, would work, I think. I know there are strong/weak, double sided adhesive tapes in office supply stores, but not really designed for hair system use. Any ideas?

Klynt - all the items on the page I gave you (link above) are the same tape, just cut in different shapes and lengths (except the two rolls of cloth tape in the bottom right hand corner - ignore those). Just pick the one that best suits your requirements and the shape of your hairpiece.
