hi
I have been trying to cope with CTE for the past 2 years with no apparent triggers and no solutions. I’ve now been told it’s triggered FPHL even though there is no history in my family.
After seeing many specialists and having copious amounts of blood tests no one can find anything ‘wrong’.
My hair loss is affecting me EVERY minute of the day and although I try my hardest to enjoy life I cannot accept it and I’m starting to feel my options are running out. I’ve lost about 60% diffuse shed and my temples and hairline are thin enough to see my scalp.

After coming off my pill and having a coil fitted the hair loss started. After a year on the coil I had it removed and have used nothing since to try and get my body back to normal. Although all my hormone tests come back normal too.

My question to those of you out there is this really, after trying everything; has anyone gone back onto an oral contraceptive and found it’s had a positive effect??
