about 10 years ago now, i was sitting with friends one of them was balding.. his girlfriend made jokes of him.. he was cool.. to make him feel better, and given my dad's history, i said i am going to be bald in the crown. The girls started saying that this is the ugliest thing, that front is much better..

i don t know what happened since, but I seem to agree completely. any thoughts guys or better, girls ? reason i am asking is because i seem to be determined to do everything to cover the crown (transplants, whatever) but since unfortunately i turned out to lose the top and front too, while i d like to cover it, i seem ready to tradeoff more crown hair for less front hair..

for some reason ,,,

For the common people, baldness is defined as crown baldness, not hairline recession.

Probably because of the ignorance of the Norwood scale

Yup... if you have thinning crown, you're balding, if you have recedeed hairline, you're "losing some hair"... that's the way it is.

And if you have both you're proper bald

there's so many effective treatments for the crown =/. how can you say that recession is the better type of baldness, it's like saying third degree burns on your arms are worse than amputation.
