@Ritchie It's still unclear why exactly people with poor facial structure still have their hair. I used to believe that their face shape is balanced at some way but this is not the case. Angel di Maria has horrible head posture.

So does David Schwimmer

I hypothesise now that the facial fat thickness is what stops the tension from propagating to the galea. I notice that the skin of men who go bald looks thinner and they develop more wrinkles as they age. When you see photos of balding men who get hair transplants or hair pieces you can notice how flat their faces look compared to men who have poor facial structure but full head of hair. You can notice the typical winkles under the eyes they have.

For the non balding examples I picked men with smooth galeas being sure they will never recede.

I just wish there was a way to halt and even reverse hairloss without inhibiting androgens (Testosterone/5ar [dht]), but I say that all to say Androgenetic Alopecia seems to be connected to Skeletal Health in one way or another and we see the extreme measures men on here take to halt and spur regrowth of hair via Testosterone inhibiting.

But for us cis gender men who don't want to go that far due to sideffects what can we possibly do to get those same results without inhibiting Androgens PERIOD.

I'm on dutasteride, no noticeable side effects at all but my hair is still slowly thinning

Hmmm the reminds me of "Fat Pad / Brown Fat " theory but in the scalp wonder if facial fat could be the same thing

the sad reality as of now seems to be in some men 5ar / dht inhibiting just isn't enough to move the needle in terms of hair regrowth to its maximum potential and halting it.

Testosterone inhibiting is barbiac as hell but we see it can stop the cascade of what the hell is going on in androgenetic alopecia (via Eunuchs and Castratis and even some trans individuals) thing is like many of us cis gender men we want to keep our masculinity and not have all the crazy amounts of side effects of stopping test production.

(To make it clear I'm not saying any man should do this, he'll I wouldn't do it myself but it definitely has me thinking and researching , 'why are there men who are clearly Androgen dominant (nw0 hair and even beards) not lose hair?' 'Native american men what genetic differences do they have' etc)

I'd rather get a transplant for my hairline just to frame my face and accept that everything behind the hairline will thin over time. The most important part is the hairline in my opinion.

Hair loss is just genetics, I've got an uncle that can grow a thick beard, has good muscle building genetics and still has a full head of hair at 63 but I can't grow much facial hair and I started losing hair at 18 because I inherited early onset hair loss from my mother's father.
