I think everyone experiences some degree of facial bloating from minoxidil, even if it's not listed in the side effects. For me it's entirely dose dependent. I started off using 2ml once per day at night and my face looked bad, I would describe it as hangover face. I also felt some pressure in my chest. I lowered my dose to 1ml once per day and the side-effects are way more manageable. I'm seeing some vellus hairs growing in my hairline so I know it's working.

2ml at once are too much..you are putting 100 mg of minoxidil in your scalp..

No, my face just gets a bit bloated right after applying 1ml at night but by the morning it looks fine.
I forgot about that topic. Uhm, I restarted minoxidil yesterday since my "sides" arn't totally gone. My eyedrops help, but seems like allergy non-related to minoxidil itself.
I use like 0,5ml, we'll see. Shedding hasn't completely stopped either.
How much time did you quit minoxidil ?
Hmmm its look like more a reaction than bloated retention..when you apply it only after 4 hours the 75% is absorbed..
Ahh if your sides persist after 2 weeks should be something else..maybe an allergy to some food ?
