Condition Piece When Not Being Used?

Do you need to add a daily conditioner to the piece if it's just going to spend the day in the cupboard?

Also, is it okay to comb the piece when it's wet? Not soaking wet, but damp.

To the first question - no.

To the second question - yes, but be gentle. The knots are more vulnerable to being pulled loose when the hair is wet.
