Also, is it true that diffuse thinners respond well to treatments? I think I'm just deluding myself and thinking my situation can be salvaged somehow.

You obviously care enough to point it out to us...

I would say a N3. I have mild temple recession (always had high temples since my early teens but I saw them get worse). With Finasteride and Minoxidil new hair is sprouting out. It is verrrrrryyyyy slow however.

Okay, I'll take it as somewhere between a NW3/4. I feel like, realistically, it's probably a 4. Hopefully I can get it to a solid 3 with the big 3, but maybe I'm deluding myself. That would be best case scenario I guess.

Yeah, so basically it's now or never with treatments. I guess best case scenario I get some thickening, maybe move down to NW3, worst case scenario I'll maintain (was on finasteride for a year, pretty sure I at least maintained) and get a hair transplant after a year or two.

For life in general its never too late until your buried in the ground. Doing something and trying is always better than doing nothing. No matter how far gone or bad off you are at anything. Weight, hair or whatever you can always decide tomorrow is the day to begin. Nothing will change if you never start.

lol, thanks. I guess it's worse than I think it is. But yeah you're right. Will start up a "losinghairisnotfair's story" soon and keep you all up to date on my progress. Will probably just stick to a regimen and try not to post too much on here though, I get obsessed with it and that's not healthy.

Norwood 4, diffuse pattern, incoming Norwood 6. Get on meds or watch it go away slowly. I wouldn’t go to the gym if I were you. Instead I’d pick a sport, gym is pointless and it leads to injuries. If meds give you sides, stop them and wait 2-3 years for a cure. If they don’t give you any sides, tell nobody and keep taking them.
