Can clarifying shampoos cause hair loss?

I'm using a clarifying shampoo 3-4 times a month to remove hair buildup from styling products (I use them quite often). I also started noticing more hair on my towel when I use such shampoo compared to my regular one. I've read multiple articles suggesting not to use them too often and I wonder if clarifying shampoos have any serious effect on hair loss since they have a quite potent formula?

Not likely, Michaella. Once a week is ok but clarifying shampoos have heavy surfactants in them. I have an article how to take good care of your hair easy tips See file attached. Hope it is helpful.
