Yeah it looks pretty terrible in the first one. The scalp looks irritated as f*** too. Don’t know for sure because you didn’t post a comparable picture at all, but you definitely have fine, straight, low quality hair, which, when exposed to any kind of thinning, natural or otherwise, deteriorates dramatically from loss that wouldn’t phase the majority.
Your barber must have gotten dropped on her head as a child because using thinning shears on hair of this character is the worst thing you can do to it.

She legit did everything wrong indeed. I dont have any pics of my crown, was never an issue. The only decent one is from legit five months ago, under lamp light. Is my hairline fucked, or will it thicken up again? f*** this. Below is my only good crown pic

Just a horrible uneven hair cut. I would be so pissed off if someone did that to me. I never go to anyone unless I research their work and talk to them in person. And once I find someone good, I never stray. If they are not consistent I leave them. Your hair is just naturally low density when it's thinned out. But when not, it looks really good.
