Cope, I think you are way too hard on yourself sometimes; you're a thick Norwood 3 at the worse. Give Finasteride more time and if worse comes to worse go for a minor hair transplant to fill in your temples.

Hard to say from your pics whether the retro is a contraindication for a hair transplant. Many men, myself included, experience diffuse loss at the nape of the neck and around the ears. If the hair located at the back of the skull (occipital) is stable you may be good to go.
Probably best idea is to give finasteride 2 years to work and then consider a hair transplant if you at least maintain. Good luck.
Good for you!!!Did a 9mm buzzcut today and situation at least hasn't worsened.
I see that bald spot on my hairline which worried me a lot started to regrow, I see hair thickening a bit on a hairline and my vertex is OK as well.
I noticed weak black hair on a hairline as well, so I gonna wait 3-6 months for them to thickening.
As mentioned before no sides at all, no shedding.
I grown out my hair for like 3cm recently and it was fine, thick dark hair, the only problem is temples.
So far I'm quite happy with results.
@CopeForLife
Are you Russian? Or from somewhere around that part of the world? (I know it's a big area but still) - Eastern Europe / Eurasia?
why do u ask?
Just something I noticed about how you write, it often sounds like how eastern-European people use English.
We have a very similar hair line. I'm also shedding right now and my scalp shows a little in the middle.shedding restarted and massive as before
hairline worsened a lot in past weeks
I see a scalp with bathroom light now, hair 1cm long
This is look alike of my hairline right now

Incorrect, balding and maybe worse than cope for life.No, you don't. You're Norwood 3 with very high density.
