Best Way To Preserve Spare System Inbetween Uses

Hi chaps,
I've recently got a second system mainly so I have a spare incase something unexpected occurs.
As always I'm thinking how to get the most life out if my system.
My question is what would you do with the one that you're not wearing for maximum preservation?
Mine is currently in the dark at the back of the wordrobe with a liberal amount of argan oil.
Any other suggestion?

I think the dark is the key thing. I keep spares in a ziplock bag with the air squeezed out of it, in a dark place, and they seem to last pretty much indefinitely.
