Hey guys,
I never even considered a "hair system" until my wife showed me a video on facebook from quiff hair or something like that. I always thought toupees looked like doll hair and if I got one everyone would stop, point and laugh.

I had no idea they could look so good.
I am intrigued by these new systems and am ready to give them a try.

I do want to go with the best system available, if possible. I am willing to pay for it (within reason of course).
I would prefer to go to a specialist and have them fit me with it and have it custom made. I would like it to be durable enough that I don't have to constantly worry about it. I don't mind reapplying it myself a few times a month. I am ok with having to replace it several times a year.

I live near Los Angeles. Is Hairclub any good?

I just found out about hair system couple month ago and I had no idea hair system could look so good and more easier to manage than my own hair. Taking the first step can be difficult. I know many people feel uncomfortable to DIY. Some feel miserable in the beginning. There are many skills require.... but to me the results are well worth it.

Very quickly, lots of info on this forum about modern hair systems, it will behoove you to do some reading.

1. Hairclub, old school, old technology. You get locked into paying for something that will not give you an optimal, natural look.

2. Quiff & Co. Talked to DEATH in another thread (search Quiff). No better than most, just double the cost.

3. There is no "best", it getting what suits you.

I tend to think that doing DIY out of the gate makes things way more difficult than necessary. You can find a small, independent salon you can work with, and then go as DIY as you wish.

PM me, if you wish, and I can send you to a company that has a location in LA.

Good luck,

Steve
