Hi everyone,
i'd like to share my story because this site gave me the hope to keep my hair from receding. Seeing a lot of success stories showed me that it is possible.
I'm gonna track all my progress on this site and post photos and update frequently to show the progress, but first a little background.
I've been balding since i'm 18-19, and i was in deny of that during almost two years. When i realised it, i was 21 , i had already receded a lot. I've let the baldness come onto me thinking there was no solution, even if i knew propecia and minoxidil existed, i thought it wouldn't do much for me.
At only 25 i decided to see my dermatologist who gave me a prescription of minoxidil 5%, and the results where already great, in 3 month i saw the regrowth and in 6 month i was on the road to be norwood 2 again. (I was a weak norwood 3 at the start)
You can see on this picture the result i've traced 6 month, i was really happy but for no reason, i've lost all the regrowth at the start of the 7 month. Despite this, i've kept using minoxidil in a hope that this shedding would stop and all the hair i gained would grow back. but it didnt
One year after that i've decided to start finasteride in december 2016. The success stories i've seen here gave me the courage to overcome the side effect that i was worry about.
So my regimen is now daily, propecia 1mg, minoxidil 5% twice a day, and nizoral twice a week
I have to say that in three month, my hair are generally way healthier, thanks to nizoral maybe.
+ In the last 2-3 weeks, i"ve noticed that my hair where falling less that it used two. There is now way less hair in my bathroom and in my bedsheets.
And in term of regrowth, i just have a lot of baby hair that have started to appear on my hairline, so i hope that in 2-3 month they will become, normal hair.
On this picture this is day 0 on the left and 3 month on the right, the quality is not too great so i've took closer photos in the bathroom but i've started that only at month 2, not day 0
On this last picture, it's almost month 2 on the left, and month 3 on the right
For the moment no sides noted except that i've had a few black heads on my forehead, and my forehead skin is a little bit greasy.
