Balding? How Serious? How Old Till I Lose All Of My Hair?

I'm 19 years old and have always been told by everyone around me that my hair is thin and pointy. With all this information and pictures I have seen of men balding I'm now confused , not knowing if I'm balding or not. I will post a picture of my hair from a couple of months ago and a recent picture of my hair (before shower when oily ,when wet and when dry) with a very short hair since I had a buzz haircut.
Ps: I have never had any sudden or significant hair loss and whenever I get a haircut my hair quickly grows achieving its same appearance. I do have an oily scalp which makes the hair seem thin but after shampooing the hair looks as it have always looked (thin and does show slightly the scalp)
Thanks in advance.

You have a bit of thinning on the crown. Pop some propecia and you'll be good. Better act now though before it gets worse.

Hard to tell, but you seem to have the natural fine/thin hair which I also have.

Thanks for the reply! Wondering if there is any other alternative that I can take instead of propecia? I am mostly worried about the negative and lasting side effects that comes with it. Assuming that I do not take anything how long and how severe would the thining/balding process be?

It could be the start of some crown thinning but like you my hair is very fine and looks to be diffusing when wet, but I'm almost positive it isn't. Your hairline looks great so I wouldn't bother with any medication yet, wait 6 months then compare pictures again. If it looks worse, time to consider using finasteride!

Could you if possible show me a picture of how you hair looks like. It's very unclear for me weather I'm balding powerfully (I am aware that at some point in the future my hair will be gone)or my hair is thin and fine. As I mentioned according to my parents and family members my hair have always been thin. Another thing is that nobody has pointed out that my hair has suddenly been thining/balding.

Yes, I am considering to do that. I have been comparing different pictures of my scalp for about two three months. My crown and hairline looks unchanged at all. Hopefully nothing changes in the near future but I will keep my eye on the crown area. As you, my hair when wet or unwashed for a while looks very thin or diffusing but as soon as I take a shower and let the hair dry my crown area looks much fuller and less scalp is seen.

If I were you I would use a thickening shampoo. I personally use Elvive fibrology and it is excellent, works after the first wash.
